ABOUT FRANCO,
FOUNDER OF HUMAL FORCES

In 2014 I signed up to a gym for the first time. I was needing a transformation for my mind and body and threw myself into a gym regime of my own. With zero fitness experience in a gym, I taught myself techniques, formulated workouts and a diet plan from constantly researching and learning what I could find, and quickly I started to completely change my body and my life. I loved it. So much so I quit my job as a successful art director to turn my newly found hobby and passion into a career as a fitness coach.

So here I am, Franco Vasquez, the founder of Humal Forces, born in Peru but now living in the UK coaching people with my mind muscle movement philosophy to help improve fitness, quality of life, build confidence in and out of the gym and love of training.

I have extensive experience teaching functional strength and obstacle course training but my passion to teach encompasses anything that involves moving your body and feeling good.

I started my career coaching as part of the Espartano 360 team in Lima, Peru  - a functional training system specialising in improving all of the body’s physical and neurological skills. I also set up my own obstacle course school during my time there, teaching masterclasses of individual obstacle techniques and confidence building.

Since moving to the UK I joined the UTS coaching team under the guidance of Team GB coaches and professionals. Working amongst such a highly skilled and educated team has been hugely beneficial to my own work and continued professional development, in particular evolving my knowledge and understanding of strength and conditioning science and methodologies.  My learning, teaching and love of training continues and I am so glad I get to share this every day coaching classes and clients and keep growing Humal Forces with the passion I have for fitness and healthy lifestyles.
